**Job Description**

As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a leading multinational entity. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating end-to-end control processes to identify areas for enhancement and developing solutions with subject matter experts.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies for target operating models, business requirement documents, user stories, and test cases.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and operational advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements for changes to control processes.
  • Identifying, documenting, and analyzing business requirements against risk through process discovery and managing these through to completion or escalation.
  • Analyzing information collected in a detailed manner while working independently and as part of the overall team.
  • Respecting and demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the group, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Knowledge of securities settlement processes across multiple products (equities, fixed income, SBL, and prime) and markets (US, Europe, UK, APAC, and Latam).
  • Experience working across multiple disciplines within finance or related industries.
  • Examples of delivering process improvements and controls enhancements.
  • Knowledge of operations businesses/functions in an investment banking environment.
  • Experience in data analysis and tracing through multiple systems front-to-back.
  • Leadership skills, including experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly document findings and put together proposals for solutions.
  • An inquisitive mindset and willingness to work outside your comfort zone.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge and understanding of workflows and controls to enable leadership within the team.
  • Ability to lead wider teams in proving the effectiveness of processes or controls.
  • Independence, multi-tasking, organization, attention to detail, and ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
  • Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping skillsets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight contractual deadlines.
