Job Description

We are seeking a Library Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Librarian in the daily operation and management of the School library.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Librarian in maintaining the general cleanliness and tidiness of the library
  • Perform ad hoc administrative duties and tasks assigned by School Leaders
  • Process loans of books and handle data entry
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A completed secondary school education
  • The ability to read and communicate in English and Mother Tongue Language(s)
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
  • Basic IT knowledge to handle data entry and processing loans of books
Benefits

This is a part-time contract position with an option to extend for another year. You will work Mondays to Fridays from 8:00am to 1pm, with no service required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Others

You must have at least 1 year experience working in a school or school library in Singapore.
