Job Title: Operational Management Director

Description

The Director of Operations oversees the daily management and coordination of the hotel's operations. They collaborate with senior management to plan, execute, and monitor tasks and projects to ensure seamless execution and successful project delivery.

In addition to their core responsibilities, the Director of Operations is responsible for collaborating with HR to develop and implement effective manpower planning strategies, conduct interviews when required, and assist in developing and improving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

As a key liaison between management and staff, the Director of Operations plays a critical role in resolving conflicts, mediating disputes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee daily operations and management for the hotel department
  • Collaborate with senior management on planning and execution of tasks and projects
  • Collaborate with HR on manpower planning and interview processes
  • Assist in developing and improving KPIs
  • Act as a communication conduit between management and staff
  • Resolve conflicts and mediate disputes between employees
  • Attend to customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must be able to work in islandwide locations and be willing to travel frequently. They should also be able to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a related field is essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
