Administrative Role at Centre for Quantum Technologies

The Centre for Quantum Technologies in Singapore conducts research on quantum physics and develops devices based on quantum phenomena. The centre brings together physicists, computer scientists, and engineers to work on these projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage PhD student candidature milestones, including administrating exams and course registration matters.
  • Assist with the PhD Academic Committee application process, including contacting applicants and conducting interviews.
  • Handle student travel requests, create new courses, and provide secretarial support to the PhD Academic Committee.
  • Other administrative and logistical matters relating to PhD students, including organizing events and welfare programs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum degree holder required.
  • At least 5 years of related working experience preferred.
  • Experience in handling student programs is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, drive, and independence are essential.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, resourcefulness, and proactivity. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently.
