Job DescriptionThe Customs Clearance Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring freight to ensure timely arrival and accurate customs declarations. This includes following up on inbound shipments and providing timely delivery to consignees.
In addition, the Customs Clearance Coordinator will monitor flight/vessel arrivals and provide timely feedback on arrival information to customers. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to grow, learn and work hard in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure 100% compliance with local rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service in monitoring freight to ensure timely arrival and accurate customs declarations
- Follow up on inbound shipments and provide timely delivery to consignees
- Monitor flight/vessel arrivals and provide timely feedback on arrival information to customers
- Ensure 100% compliance with local rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Tertiary education with 1 year of working experience
- Good working knowledge in computer software applications including E-Mail, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English
