Event Catering Operations Manager

Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Event Catering Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Chinese banquet kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their knowledge and skills in managing large-scale event catering services.

Key Responsibilities:
    The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing Chinese banquet menus according to event requirements and quality standards. They will supervise kitchen staff, ensuring duties are performed to expected standards. Additionally, they will maintain adequate stock of materials required for food preparation, monitor food usage to minimize waste and control food costs, and coordinate with Banquet and F&B teams to ensure smooth service during events. Furthermore, they will maintain kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with NEA regulations and perform opening and closing duties as specified.

This is an exciting role for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment under pressure. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years' experience in the same capacity, preferably holding NTC 2 certification in food preparation. A strong understanding of Chinese cuisine and banquet kitchen operations is essential. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is also required.
