Senior Culinary Professional

As a highly skilled and experienced Senior Culinary Professional, you will play a key role in the success of our kitchen team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Sous Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen.

  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities and provide guidance as needed.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the culinary experience for our guests.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, waste, and inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Sous Chef in planning and executing menus.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and training.
  • Implement health and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Professional Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in kitchen management, food cost control, and food quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
