Job Description

As a skilled Manufacturing Technician, you will play a vital role in our production process.

You will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment to produce and/or package contact lenses. This includes operating autoclaves to sterilize contact lenses, ensuring the highest quality levels are met, and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a controlled environment.

You will also perform data integrity checks, verify information accuracy, and ensure compliance with GMP, quality, and safety requirements.

Additional responsibilities include performing IPC (in-process check) tasks such as visual lens inspection and operator packaging checks, scheduling contact lens sterilization within 12 hours, setting up machines for simple operations like ink changes, and troubleshooting machine issues.

Maintaining a clean and organized production floor is crucial, and you will be expected to adhere to 5S principles.

Continuous improvement through Kaizen projects is also an essential part of this role.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment or objects.
