We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough eye examinations using specialized diagnostic and testing equipment.

Your role will involve offering professional advice and solutions to customers, gathering detailed case histories by communicating effectively with them, and demonstrating a thorough knowledge of contact lenses when explaining their features.

You will also be responsible for dispensing and managing inventory of contact lenses, trials, and solutions, maintaining accurate records of patient eye health and purchases, ensuring equipment and measuring devices are in good condition, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily shop activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough eye examinations using specialized diagnostic and testing equipment.
  • Offer professional advice and solutions to customers.
  • Gather detailed case histories by communicating effectively with customers.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of contact lenses when explaining their features.
  • Dispense and manage inventory of contact lenses, trials, and solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient eye health and purchases.
  • Ensure equipment and measuring devices are in good condition.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of daily shop activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Optometry.
  • Fully registered with Singapore Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB).
  • Able to commit to retail hours and work on weekends and public holidays.
