Optometrist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist to fill this key position.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations utilizing specialized diagnostic equipment, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide professional advice and solutions to customers, addressing their unique needs and preferences.
  • Gather detailed case histories through effective communication with customers, maintaining confidentiality and respect for individual circumstances.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of contact lenses, explaining features and benefits to customers, and making informed recommendations.
  • Dispense and manage inventory of contact lenses, trials, and solutions, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient eye health and purchases, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Ensure all equipment and measuring devices are in good condition, performing regular maintenance and calibration as needed.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of daily shop activities, prioritizing customer satisfaction and employee productivity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Optometry or equivalent qualification.
  • Fully registered with Singapore Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB).
  • Able to commit to retail hours and work on weekends and public holidays.
