Rebar Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Rebar Specialist.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine rebar or mesh installation plans by reading and interpreting blueprints or sketches.
  • Calculate the quantity, size, and shape of reinforcing rods and decide on placement.
  • Prepare rebar and mesh for installation using metal shears, hacksaws, and torches.
  • Bend or weld rebar together as required.
  • Install cables and secure rods, cables, mesh, or rebar in concrete forms.
  • Use pliers to tie wire around rods for fastening.

Requirements:

  • Experience with construction, metalwork, electrical, fabrication, welding, rebar, assembly, stainless steel, arc welding, and cutting techniques is essential.
  • A strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations is necessary.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team is crucial.
