Job Title: Steel Rebar Installation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Rebar Installation Specialist to join our construction crew. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring that reinforcement materials are properly received, recorded, and installed on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend daily toolbox meetings and workers briefings at 7:30 am.
  • Assist in receiving reinforcement materials sent to the site, checking for any defects or damage, and recording relevant information.
  • Familiarize yourself with architectural drawings and structural drawings to ensure accurate implementation of reinforcement materials.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, and other site personnel to ensure that work progress, quality, and safety meet customer requirements.
  • Teach and demonstrate proper techniques for erecting stirrups, installing, and binding rebar.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that reinforcement materials meet specified standards and report any defects or discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Achieve efficiency targets set by the company and site Project Manager, monitoring and reporting progress regularly.
Requirements:
  • Possess a certificate in steel bar skills from the BCA (Building Construction Authority).
  • Be able to read, understand, and execute work based on construction drawings, possessing basic drawing recognition skills.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Hold a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field of reinforcement materials management.
