Job Opportunity: Desktop Support Specialist Position Available.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our IT team as a Desktop Support Specialist.

About the Role:

  • Provide 24x7 Service Desk support as defined by first response/Tier 2 support
  • Offer phone, email support for all IT-related problems, including hardware/software, passwords, and printer issues
  • Perform shift work in support of operational IT-related mission/after duty hours on call/emergency requirements
  • Flexible to work in shifts
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues using diagnostic utilities
  • Manage incidents, communicate with customers, and develop trends by monitoring incoming calls and problems
  • Perform post-resolution follow-ups and reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations

  • IT Operations Management

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • 2-3 years previous IT Service Desk and/or Call Centre experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems, with emphasis on Windows and Office
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity
