Transaction Banking Product Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transaction Banking Product Manager to accelerate our transaction banking development. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of business domains such as cash management, trade finance, lending, or treasury.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Delivery:
  • Manage product delivery roadmap
  • Drive the design and development of products into delivery by coordinating with IT, OPS and other teams
  • Collaborate with business to shape/influence the overall product vision

Backlog Management:
  • Groom, prioritize, and maintain multiple backlogs (product, defect, BAU)
  • Write clear and actionable user stories, review, approve user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and understood by all team members

Sprint Planning and Execution:
  • Lead/participate in sprint ceremonies and planning meetings to define goals and priorities
  • Ensure the development team understands the requirements and priorities
  • Review and accept completed work during sprint reviews

Change Management & Decision Making:
  • Make decisions regarding product features, scope, and priorities
  • Balance technical constraints, business needs, and user requirements
  • Manage change requests via a well-defined change management framework

Market and User Research:
  • Conduct market research and analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor products

Performance Monitoring:
  • Track product performance metrics and ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement

Team Building and Management:
  • To build a high-performing team of domain expertise, fostering a culture of innovation, compliance, and industry best practices

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of any one of the business domains (cash management, trade finance, lending, treasury)
  • Good grasp of technologies to understand and appreciate the solution fitment to business requirements
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field (preferred)
