Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Environmental Compliance Officer to join our organization.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in environmental control and site management to take on a challenging role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and hygiene regulations, as well as implementing and enforcing Environmental Control Measures in accordance with NEA Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain effective Environmental Control Plans to mitigate risks and promote a healthy working environment.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections, investigations, and compliance audits to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
  • Collaborate with site management to develop and implement strategies to prevent pollution of public drains and maintain cleanliness of public roads and drains along the site perimeter.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to stakeholders, including presentations, to provide transparent updates on progress and performance.
  • Advise site management on environmental compliance matters and recommend corrective actions where necessary to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) certification from the National Environment Agency.
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction, environmental control, and site management.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare effective reports and presentations.
