Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) recipes for all New Product Introduction (NPI) and Inline processes.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze defects, provide feedback to various teams, and enforce yield investigation reports. You will also drive cross-functional teams to improve yields, monitor yields, and generate weekly reports for customers.

In addition, you will update and review specifications, perform Metrology tool measurements, analyze SPC charts, and enforce correct processing in the production line based on SOPs and working instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Create AOI Recipes for NPI and Inline processes
  • Analyze defects and provide feedback to Process, NPI, EE, and Manufacturing teams
  • Enforce yield investigation reports and procedure to shut down low-yield tools
  • Drive CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) with cross-functional teams
  • Monitor yields and generate weekly reports for customer yields and CIP reports
  • Update and review specifications
  • Perform MSA on Metrology tools (Bump Shear, Pull, Xray, probe tools, and XRF tools)
  • Analysis of SPC charts for bump characteristics
  • Enforce correct processing in the production line based on SOPs and working instructions
  • Provide production line support for AOI and Metrology related issues
  • Conduct spec's gap analysis and implementation (CCR, if needed)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of work experience in AOI (Visual Inspection)
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing cleanroom environment
  • Good knowledge of SPC, MSA, FMEA
