Job Title: Technical Database Specialist

Job Description:

The role of a Technical Database Specialist plays a vital part in the student admissions process.

This position involves ensuring system stability, optimising data integrity, and configuring our Slate platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Configuration and Management: Assist in maintaining and customising the Slate database to ensure a seamless user experience for applicants and staff.
  • Support for CRM & Other Technologies: Support CRM and related technological systems as needed, including configuration, troubleshooting, and system implementation after the initial Slate setup.
  • Data Management: Support data imports, exports, cleansing, and ensure smooth integration with campus systems such as the Student Information System (SIS).
  • Reporting and Analytics: Help develop queries, dashboards, and scheduled reports to provide insights for decision-making and monitor key performance metrics.
  • Communications and Events: Assist in managing multi-channel communications and coordinating event messaging and scheduling.
  • User Support and Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, support user training, develop documentation, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of information technology principles and practices, including data management, system implementation, and troubleshooting. Relevant experience in CRM systems and software development is a plus.

Candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
