Job Description

The Database Activity Monitoring Specialist will collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure the DAM system operates smoothly, remains healthy, highly available, and compliant with service level agreements and security policies.

This role requires effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, as well as strong technical knowledge of databases and server platforms.

  • Execute Database Monitoring Administration Service Levels
  • Implement infrastructure and support database security monitoring
  • Perform database security monitoring and auditing
  • Monitor security alerts and work with clients to ensure policies are implemented effectively
  • Manage database activity monitoring reports
  • Communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Monitoring: Execute administration service levels for database monitoring, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Infrastructure Implementation: Implement infrastructure to support database security monitoring, including deployment of necessary tools and technologies.
  • Audit and Compliance: Perform regular database security monitoring and auditing to ensure compliance with service level agreements and security policies.
  • Security Alerts: Monitor security alerts and collaborate with clients to ensure effective implementation of security policies.
  • Reporting and Communication: Manage database activity monitoring reports and communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.

Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of databases and server platforms is required.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with stakeholders at all levels.
