Database Professional Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished database professional to assume responsibility for designing, developing and maintaining robust database solutions using Oracle and MS SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing High-Performance Databases: Designing and creating high-performance databases with scalable architecture.
  • Developing Complex Database Systems: Developing, implementing and maintaining complex database systems.
  • Ensuring Data Integrity: Ensuring data integrity through rigorous testing and quality control processes.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable database solutions.
  • Providing Technical Support: Providing expert technical support for production systems and resolving complex database issues.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise with Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server (T-SQL).
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques.
  • Performance Optimization: Experience with performance optimization, query tuning and indexing strategies.
  • Security Best Practices: Familiarity with backup/recovery and security best practices.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
