Job Title: Chassis Category Manager

Job Description:
  • Interrogate cross-divisional and external supplier competitiveness support (COGS productivity).
  • Define and pursue growth targets and battle plans for key customers together with sales leaders.
  • Voice of the regional market to define product specifications, position products in the right customer segment for financial success respecting global guidelines and brand strategy.
  • Ensure customer proximity by transforming market and customer requirements into profitable portfolio opportunities with supporting business cases.
  • Responsible for portfolio range extension, align, define, and execute regional portfolio strategy as part of the regional category book in line with global strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as gatekeeper to support front-line sales teams and align with regional OE Project Manager to ensure AM requirements are fulfilled in RFQ, CQ, and GDPEP meetings.
  • Coordinate regular visual and technical benchmarking of product lines against competitor offerings, providing input for product positioning statements.
  • Lead the pricing strategy, including NPI price recommendations, responsible for price request approvals, yearly adjustments, and promotion setup according to defined thresholds.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related fields.
  • 3-7 years of experience in automotive product management.
  • Fluency in English and business-related knowledge.
