Job Title: Senior Technical Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Technical Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that M&E systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for M&E components.
  • Develop and manage budgets for M&E aspects of construction projects.
  • Monitor budget allocations, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Assist in the negotiation and administration of contracts with M&E sub-contractors.
  • Lead M&E teams, providing guidance for successful project completion.
  • Manage M&E aspects of construction and tender projects.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts.
  • Ensure M&E systems meet standards and specifications, adhering to regulations and standards.
  • Identify and address potential risks to prevent delays.
  • Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate records, including project plans, drawings, and technical specifications, to support project documentation and future maintenance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for M&E related matters, addressing client concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Resolve technical issues and challenges related to M&E systems promptly, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination.
  • Holding a Professional Engineering (PE) certification or other relevant qualifications in M&E engineering (e.g., CEng, LEED accreditation) is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Singapore's construction industry.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills with all internal and external teams involved in the project.
