Key Supply Chain Professional

Job Summary:

The role of the Supply Chain Executive involves overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations to ensure seamless procurement, logistics, and distribution processes. This encompasses coordinating with internal teams, managing post-sales activities, preparing and issuing invoices, and planning end-to-end supply chain activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: The successful candidate will process and acknowledge customer sales orders accurately and promptly, coordinate with internal teams for seamless order fulfillment, manage post-sales activities including order placement and status follow-up, and prepare and issue invoices in a timely manner.
  • Supply Chain Operations: This professional will plan, manage, and coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure smooth operations, monitor procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services, collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.
  • Logistics and Distribution: The key responsibilities include managing shipping schedules, customs clearance, and delivery timelines, addressing and resolving transportation or logistics issues to minimize delays, and evaluating and negotiating with logistics providers to optimize costs and performance.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring compliance with all relevant local regulations, import/export requirements, and internal policies is crucial. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for all supply chain and logistics activities is also vital.
  • ERP System Support: Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and supporting parallel runs during ERP implementation is essential. Verifying baseline accounting and financial data before system migration, coordinating data entry and testing with sales, purchasing, operations, and supply chain teams, maintaining proper records and documentation for audit purposes, and responding to auditors' queries with relevant supporting documents are critical tasks.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain administration, operations, or ERP-related support roles.
  • Background in a Manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
