Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of products.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Job Description:

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products. This includes performing in-process checks to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and specifications.

Additionally, the Quality Control Specialist will maintain accurate and up-to-date records, logs, and inspection reports. They will identify, document, and report any non-conformances or defects; initiate corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.
  2. Perform in-process checks to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and specifications.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, logs, and inspection reports.
  4. Identify, document, and report any non-conformances or defects; initiate corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  6. Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality protocols in the production area.
  7. Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures, SOPs, and inspection plans.
  8. Participate in internal audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
  9. Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding quality standards and materials compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Quality Control Principles and Practices: Knowledge of quality control principles and practices is essential for this role.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations and standards.
  3. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to identify and resolve quality issues.
  4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with production teams.
  5. Independent Work: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
