The Regional Supply Chain Leader for Emerging Asia plays a pivotal role in assisting the Supply Chain Director for ANZPI / IMENA / Asia and the Emerging Asia (EA) sector. Collaborating closely with the local Leadership team, this position oversees a multifaceted region that includes Local Economy markets such as Cambodia, East Timor, Guam, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. This role encompasses essential functions including Supply Chain and third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse management, which are vital for the region's success, characterized by its diversity and complexity.

Key Responsibilities

**Team Development and Leadership**

● Guide and mentor the Supply Chain Team in Emerging Asia (1 Direct Report)

● Foster growth and development in direct report(s), emphasizing solution-oriented initiatives and enhancing supply chain and logistics performance in the region

● Act as a strategic visionary, exploring ways to streamline and expand the supply chain

● Encourage innovative thinking and challenge existing processes for continuous improvement

● Serve as a supportive coach and collaborator for both direct reports and peers across the Emerging Asia region

**Demand and Supply Coordination**

● Partner with the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Planner and EA Commercial Team to submit and review commercial shipment forecasts and KPIs

● Contribute to the IBP process, attend monthly meetings, and provide insights for process enhancement

● Supervise the complete order-to-receipt process in SAP

● Proactively plan to avert stock shortages by collaborating with global supply chain planners on product availability and production schedules

● Work alongside commercial and marketing teams to explore supply alternatives to minimize out-of-stock risks and achieve forecasted volumes

**Distributor Management and Direct Shipments**

● Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure timely orders from distributors and optimize container configurations

● Ensure shipment reports are effectively communicated by the customer service team to distributors and lead discussions as needed

**Supply Chain Strategy Development**

● Support financial objectives by proactively addressing supply, stock, warehouse, and logistics challenges

● Formulate strategies to manage supply risks through identification, assessment, and prioritization of potential issues

● Oversee the collection and analysis of monthly depletion data, investigating irregularities as necessary

● Assist in establishing standardized reporting requirements for the region

● Support projects in Emerging Asia and EI to enhance overall supply chain performance

● Design and implement necessary supply chain optimization initiatives

**3PL Warehouse and Inventory Oversight**

● Evaluate the performance of the 3PL warehouse in Singapore, focusing on inventory accuracy and timely delivery of shipments

● Lead the contract renewal process, manage logistics costs, and negotiate favorable terms

● Coordinate value-added repackaging activities with the Singapore warehouse

● Manage overall inventory levels and turnover rates

● Monitor inventory to ensure a consistent supply, presenting risks and proposals to Commercial Leaders

● Develop and implement inventory strategies aligned with market needs and the overall Supply Chain strategy

● Collaborate with Commercial Leaders on plans for slow-moving or aged stock

● Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations and annual stock assessments

**Logistics and Order Fulfillment Management**

● Lead the Supply Chain Analyst in monitoring orders and shipments, ensuring effective communication between the Singapore warehouse and distributor partners

● Oversee annual gift pack allocations and distributor ordering, including inventory management

● Manage the introduction and rationalization of new brands, products, and SKUs, including special packaging requirements

● Address the diverse importing needs for all countries in the region, including documentation and certification

● Conduct monthly reviews with Supply Chain to discuss open replenishment orders and logistics challenges

● Ensure timely order processing from the 3PL warehouse for customers in Emerging Asia

● Manage inventory allocation for customers facing supply risks

● Support customers/distributors sourcing directly from plants to minimize out-of-stock situations

Qualifications

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field

● Experience in the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors

● Proficiency in planning, warehouse management, and order fulfillment

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

● Effective management and coaching abilities

● Proven capacity to independently organize work projects, analyze data, and present actionable results

● Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Google Suite, and Business Warehouse

● Education: Master’s degree (M.A., MBA, or equivalent) in Business or Supply Chain
