Engaging Role from the Start

The Regional Supply Chain Leader for Emerging Asia plays a pivotal role in assisting the Supply Chain Director for ANZPI / IMENA / Asia and the Emerging Asia (EA) region. Collaborating closely with the local Leadership team, this position is essential for navigating the complexities of a diverse region that includes Local Economy markets such as Cambodia, East Timor, Guam, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. This role encompasses a wide range of core functions, including Supply Chain and third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse management, which are vital for the region's success.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Development

● Guide and mentor the Supply Chain Team in Emerging Asia (1 Direct Report)

● Foster growth and development among direct report(s), emphasizing solution-oriented initiatives and enhancing supply chain and logistics performance

● Act as a strategic thinker, exploring innovative ways to simplify and enhance supply chain complexities

● Challenge existing processes and instill this mindset in direct reports

● Serve as a supportive coach and collaborator with peers across the Emerging Asia region

Demand and Supply Coordination

● Partner with the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Planner and EA Commercial Team to review and submit commercial shipment forecasts while analyzing KPIs and trends

● Engage in the IBP process, attending monthly meetings and providing constructive feedback for process improvement

● Oversee the complete order-to-receipt process utilizing SAP

● Proactively plan to avoid stockouts by collaborating with global supply chain planners regarding product availability and production schedules

● Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to explore supply alternatives to mitigate stockout risks and achieve forecasted volumes

Distributor Management and Direct Shipments

● Work alongside commercial teams to ensure timely orders from distributors and optimize container configurations

● Ensure that shipment reports are communicated by the customer service team to distributors and lead discussions as necessary

Supply Chain Strategy Development

● Support financial objectives by proactively addressing supply, stock, warehouse, and logistics issues

● Formulate strategies to manage supply risks through identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks in the supply chain

● Oversee the collection and analysis of monthly depletion data, investigating any irregularities as needed

● Assist in establishing standardized reporting requirements for the region

● Contribute to projects in Emerging Asia and EI to enhance overall supply chain performance

● Design and implement essential supply chain optimization initiatives

3PL Warehouse and Inventory Oversight

● Monitor the performance of the 3PL warehouse in Singapore, focusing on inventory accuracy, timely delivery of shipments, customs clearance, and document accuracy

● Lead the contract renewal process, manage logistics costs, and negotiate favorable terms

● Coordinate VAP Repack activities with the Singapore warehouse

● Manage overall inventory levels and turnover rates

● Monitor inventory levels to ensure a consistent supply, presenting risks and proposals to Commercial Leaders

● Develop and implement inventory strategies that align with market needs and the overall Supply Chain strategy

● Address slow-moving or aged stock in collaboration with Commercial Leaders for depletion and disposition planning

● Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations and annual stock takes

Logistics and Order Fulfillment Management

● Direct the Supply Chain Analyst in monitoring orders and shipments, facilitating communication between the Singapore warehouse and distributor partners to ensure timely delivery

● Manage annual gift pack allocations and distributor ordering, including inventory management

● Oversee portfolio development, including new brand, product, and SKU introductions, as well as any special packaging or labeling requirements

● Manage the diverse importing needs for all countries in the region, including documentation and certification requirements

● Conduct monthly reviews with the Supply Chain team to address open replenishment orders and logistics challenges

● Supervise order processing from the 3PL warehouse, ensuring timely and complete deliveries for Emerging Asia customers

● Manage inventory allocation for customers facing supply risks

● Support other customers/distributors sourcing directly from plants to minimize stockout situations

Qualifications

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field

● Experience in the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors

● Background in planning, warehouse management, and order fulfillment

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

● Effective management and coaching abilities

● Proven capacity to independently organize work projects, analyze data, and present findings in a clear, actionable format

● Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Google, and Business Warehouse

Unique Attributes

● Education: Master’s degree (M.A., MBA, or equivalent) in Business or Supply Chain
