We are seeking a highly skilled Italian cuisine professional to join our team as a Junior Sous Chef.

About the Role:

The Junior Sous Chef will play a key role in supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations. This includes assisting with menu planning, recipe development, and ingredient selection, as well as preparing and cooking high-quality Italian dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and ingredient selection.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, ensuring presentation and taste meet our high standards.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback to foster skill development.
  • Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock control as needed.
  • Handle any customer concerns or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cook or Chef, preferably in an Italian restaurant.
