Job Description

The Role of a Quality Assurance Specialist Trainee involves overseeing the production process to ensure that investigational medicinal products and commercial products are manufactured in accordance with global quality standards.

This position requires the ability to provide quality oversight, identify and escalate quality issues, and participate in the design and implementation of quality initiatives. Additionally, the candidate must be able to perform routine operations, review documents, and manage competing priorities while meeting timelines.

  • Quality Oversight: Ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with global quality standards
  • Escalation of Quality Issues: Identify and escalate quality issues following established criteria
  • Routine Operations: Perform routine 'Make, Assess, Release' operations to meet targets and timelines
  • Initiative Design and Implementation: Participate in the design and implementation of quality initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess a degree in Life Sciences or Engineering discipline, as well as 1-3 years of related working experience. They should have good knowledge of cGMP and GDP relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional requirements include the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage deliverables, and communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Flexibility in work hours, including shift work, is also necessary.

  • Education: Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering discipline
  • Work Experience: 1-3 years of related working experience
  • cGMP and GDP Knowledge: Good knowledge of cGMP and GDP relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Flexibility: Flexibility in work hours, including shift work
