Job Opportunity
  We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the implementation of our Operational Risk and Control Framework for Global Banking APAC. As a Senior Operational Risk and Control Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of this critical framework, ensuring it aligns with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the Operational Risk and Control Framework, ensuring its effective integration into our Global Banking APAC operations.
  • Oversee Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), control testing, incident management, and remediation plans to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Coordinate regulatory/compliance reviews and support timely closure of audit recommendations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor Front Office control results, complaints handling, and reporting to ensure that our risk management practices are effective and efficient.
  • Assist with procedure management, including the preparation of materials and minutes for governance committees, as well as contribute to operational risk framework enhancements and conduct governance initiatives (risk assessments, training, awareness campaigns).
  • Drive efficiency through streamlining/automating reporting processes and ensuring data quality across reports and committees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our risk management capabilities and promote a culture of risk-awareness within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operational risk management, with a strong understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
