Production Planning Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production planning process to ensure effective and efficient capacity utilization. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop short-, mid- and long-term plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with Capacity Planning team and Factory Planning for short/mid/long term plan development.
  • Responsible for managing and communicating supplier forecast to factories to achieve supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage factory capacity loading status and provide action details (prebuild proposals) to improve KPIs such as capacity filled rate and on-time shipment.
  • Collaborate with Product Development team for NPI commercialization schedule, ensuring factory delivery meets launch timelines.
  • Interface with Global Merchandising, Product Design Management, and Supply Planning teams for seamless Po placement and buy confirmation.
  • Support vendor allocation during each buy cycle.
  • Achieve KPIs by supervising planner performance and process optimization, driving departmental efficiency and team development.
  • Identify key drivers and opportunities during project building, engage in UAT stages, and manage smooth rollout.
  • Participate in planning audit processes, engage in discussions with factories for planning improvements, and conduct systematic training for new planners and vendors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Above 3 years of experience in production planning (SC planning). Shoe industry experience preferred.
  • Great learnability, communication, collaboration skills; excellent data analysis skills; good understanding of SC management knowledge; strong team-building skills.
  • Fluent oral and written English, Mandarin (required).
  • Proficient in Excel analysis, PowerPoint presentation, and PowerBI (preferred).
  • Ability to support business travel outside Singapore countries (Asia or US).
