Teaching Position

This is a teaching position for English Language and Literature.

Main Responsibilities
  • Teach classes in English Literature and related subjects.
  • Work with student support departments to enrich curriculum and student learning.
  • Differentiate and target learning to students' needs and aptitude levels.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in professional duties outside of school hours as necessary.
  • Supervise students during break/lunch and unstructured times.
  • Lead/coach an after-school activity.
  • Assist in internal sub coverage according to department needs.
  • Contribute to school continuous improvement through committee or work group membership.
  • Responsible for homeroom teacher duties.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Develop trust and effective relationships with students and parents.
  • Establish supportive working relationships with all staff members.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English Literature.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the related field preferred.
  • Curriculum development knowledge required.
  • Possess highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
