Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Lessons: Demonstrate brilliant knowledge and manner of instruction of IBDP English A: Language and Literature, English B, and IGCSE First Language English, meeting and exceeding curriculum standards.
  • Curriculum Leadership and Innovation: Play a vital role in curriculum planning, ensuring alignment with IBO and Cambridge frameworks while integrating creative learning strategies.
  • Excellence in Delivery: Present yourself as an energetic and articulate educator who thrives in the classroom, bringing a delivery style that is student-centred and incorporates a wide range of pedagogical tools.
  • Assessment for Learning: Design and implement formative and summative assessments that are rigorous, fair, and aligned with the respective curriculum standards.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in English, English Literature, or a related field. Recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of teaching experience in IBDP English A. Experience with IGCSE and English B teaching preferred.
