Drafter and Costing Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Drafter Estimator. As an electrical drafter estimator, you will be responsible for creating clear and accurate electrical drawings and schematic, as well as generating project cost estimates from Single Line Diagrams, Layout, Control Diagrams, and Specifications.
Job Requirements:- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant courses
- Able to read schematic drawing
- Possess AutoCAD skills will be considered as a Drafter
- Relevant experience is an advantage
- 5 days work week
- North location
- Entry level candidates welcome with training provided
- Great working environment with MNC
- Create clear and accurate electrical drawings and schematic
- Utilize CAD Software to create or edit electrical drawings
- Collaborate with Engineers and Designers
- Adhere and follow industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of changes and revisions to electrical drawings
- Generate project cost estimates from Single Line Diagrams, Layout, Control Diagrams, and Specifications
- Develop cost estimates using written and verbal instructions from the supervisor and project inquiries
- Collaborate with the Engineering Department to ensure design coordination
- Create Schedule of Rate and Technical Data Sheet
- Review estimates for completeness and accuracy, updating revisions as necessary
- Input quotation inquiries into the system and organize technical data, schedule of rates, and documents
- Undertake additional ad-hoc responsibilities as required
