Job Description

The Construction Drafter and Engineer Project Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting project drawings, specifications, and reports. They will manage the full scope of quantity surveyor duties, including material take-off and variations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing commercial tenders, including material take-off, preparation of Bills of Quantities, and technical queries.
  • Analysing tender pricing and preparing contractors' bills of quantities.
  • Managing all related stakeholder liaison activities with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and authorities on the project.
  • Ensuring costs for all Variation of Scope works and preparing VO submissions to clients.
  • Managing subcontractor and vendor claims.
  • Coordinating project timelines and costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods. Required qualifications include:

Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying or other relevant disciplines with a construction background or experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
