Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Account Director to join our Wholesale Business team at adidas. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive profitable growth in assigned accounts and key accounts, while aligning with the company's brand image and commercial strategy.

About the Role

  • Establish strong relationships with key customer decision-makers and position adidas as their preferred partner.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, policies, and best practices to grow assigned accounts and business segments.
  • Negotiate trade terms that benefit both adidas and customers, ensuring a win-win outcome.
  • Ensure reliable and efficient supply of products to customers, responding promptly to their needs and minimizing complaints.
  • Pursue additional business opportunities and apply a strategic mid-long term approach within accounts.
  • Represent the assigned field and key account internally, managing interfaces with various functions and coordinating meetings as needed.
  • Develop business and key account strategies, including quarterly updates on strategic initiatives and presentations to local management teams.
  • Sell-in and agree on sell-through support, leading alignment across internal functions and facilitating meetings with designated operations teams and Customer Service.
  • Monitor sell-through and order books, ensuring reliable and cost-efficient supply for business and key accounts.
  • Lead team members or have exposure to onboarding new team members, coaching them on account management tasks and responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce operations and digital merchandising is an advantage.
  • Measure progress on assigned account KPIs, monitor market trends and competitors, and provide realistic business plans and forecasts aligned with the company's long-range plan.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional Background/Experience:
  • Functional: Preferably 5 years in Sales or KA Management.
  • Industry: Apparel/Fashion/Footwear or FMCG.
  • Leadership: Good leadership skill.
  • Exposure: Sports, marketing, account management, merchandising.
  • Education:
    • University degree in Business with sales/commercial focus.
  • IT:
    • Outlook: Basic.
    • Word: Advanced.
    • Excel: Advanced.
    • Powerpoint: Advanced.
  • Language Skills:
    • English: Advanced.
    • Local Language: Fluent.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of the role.
