**Job Title:** Major Gifts Professional

This role presents an opportunity to excel in securing major gifts and building meaningful relationships with donors. As a Major Gifts Professional, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gift prospects, as well as managing relationships with existing donors.

  • Identify and Cultivate Donor Prospects: Research and identify potential major gift donors, then cultivate these relationships through personalized outreach and engagement.
  • Solicit and Secure Major Gifts: Develop and implement strategies to solicit and secure major gifts from identified prospects.
  • Manage Donor Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, ensuring their ongoing support and involvement with our institution.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in major gifts fundraising, with a track record of success in securing significant gifts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising plans.
