Job DescriptionThe Development Office is the University-wide unit responsible for driving philanthropic support. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented major gift officer to join our team.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major gift donors
- Manage a diverse portfolio of individuals, corporates and foundations
This role involves overseeing and executing all phases of donor engagement and the gift cycle.
The ideal candidate is a skilled relationship builder with a passion for forging meaningful partnerships and possessing excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and QualificationsProven track record in navigating and closing complex sales with individuals and/or organisations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong active listening skills with excellent written and verbal communications skills
A recognized university degree or diploma with relevant experience will be considered.
