Job Opportunity: Fundraising Specialist

Role Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Fundraising Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating fundraising events and projects that align with our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to increase revenue and enhance the organization's profile.

  2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential sponsors, donors, and partners to secure valuable collaborations and support.

  3. Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment.

  4. Manage event budgets, tracking income and expenses to ensure financial goals are met.

  5. Design and disseminate promotional materials, such as brochures, posters, and social media content, to promote events and attract supporters.

  6. Optimize online giving strategies by enhancing digital marketing efforts, including search engine optimization (SEO), to drive engagement and maximize fundraising outcomes.

  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant fundraising regulations and adhere to the Code of Governance, maintaining transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant work experience in event management, fundraising, or partnerships is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • A positive, committed attitude with a strong passion for community service and making an impact.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
