We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, including the installation and maintenance of network elements and structured cabling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain network elements and structured cabling in data centers
  • Coordinate with the customer team to ensure seamless installation and configuration of IT equipment
  • Perform pre-termination procedures, including organizing, forming, and dressing cables
  • Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cable as required
  • Perform fire-stopping procedures on firewalls, install sleeves, pull cable through sleeves, and core penetration
  • Terminate low-voltage devices
  • Follow prints and complete all paperwork accurately and on time
  • Adhere to and participate in all Company, customer, and industry quality and safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in data center installation and maintenance
  • Experience with network wiring, data room experience, and structured cabling
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, PC/Laptop hardware, and PC/Laptop peripherals
  • IT qualifications, such as PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
