The Student Success Coach will work with undergraduate students to enhance their employability and employment aligned to their career interests and goals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of career development theories and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key responsibilities include:
Providing 1:1 personalized career coaching and small group coaching sessions to students
Guiding students in exploring their career preferences, strengths, values, and interests
Administering self-assessment and career profiling tools, where necessary, to enable students to understand themselves better
Coaching students in their early career exploration and planning over the 4 years at NTU
Providing students with information and resources on career-related topics, including job search strategies, resume writing, interview skills, and industry skills frameworks
Conducting resume critique and mock interview coaching sessions
Coaching students in strategies for internship and job search
Liaising with the respective School's leadership on career-related matters
