Senior Counsellor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsellor to join our team in an East/Youth Setting. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in counselling, therapy, and programme management.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and participating in outreach efforts related to the Division, overseeing the delivery of Counselling & Therapy Services, developing strategies for growth, and providing counselling assessment and intervention for clients. They will also be required to document all case-related records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Counselling or equivalent, with at least 7 years of experience in the social service sector or similar setting.
  • Registered counsellor with a recognized professional body (e.g. SAC, SPS).
  • Prior experience in providing case and clinical supervision to social service practitioners and/or counsellors.
  • Passion for working with youths.
  • Ability to work independently but effectively as part of a team.
