Genetic Counsellor Role

We are seeking a skilled Genetic Counsellor to join our clinical team. This role involves delivering comprehensive genetic counselling services for patients referred to the cardiovascular genetics service.

  • This includes pre- and post-counselling for hereditary cardiac conditions, as well as managing patient intakes, analysing genetic variants, and coordinating testing processes.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary medical team, handle referrals, contribute to research initiatives, and provide genetic education to healthcare professionals.

For this role, we require:

  • A Master's degree in Genetic Counselling or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years' relevant clinical experience with demonstrated competency in genetic counselling.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with experience in MS Office, databases, presentations, and pedigree drawing software.
