Position Overview
This role entails the responsibilities of a Cybersecurity Sales Manager at Wizlynx Singapore. The primary focus is on promoting and selling the Wizlynx Singapore product and service offerings to new clients, thereby driving revenue growth. Additionally, this position involves managing partnerships and vendor relationships to enhance the sales and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities within the cybersecurity sector to enhance market presence and stimulate growth.
- Plan and execute strategic business development initiatives.
- Provide strategic insights from a business development perspective to inform management decisions.
- Network actively within the Wizlynx ecosystem.
- Identify and engage potential new clients.
- Collaborate with thought leaders in the cybersecurity field to elevate the profile of Wizlynx Singapore.
Sales
- Generate leads and leverage personal contacts to build a robust pipeline in cybersecurity services.
- Submit weekly updates on the sales pipeline to the designated group.
- Plan and conduct sales calls, meetings, events, and client visits efficiently.
- Ensure effective management and execution of all sales tasks.
- Prepare deal calculations, proposals, and presentations to support potential opportunities within established timelines and customer expectations.
- Update the pipeline report weekly and coordinate with the Wizlynx Singapore leadership team to ensure adequate resources are available for new business.
- Define requirements for mature deals and opportunities, guiding the decision-making process to closure.
- Provide margin estimations for each opportunity to support management's decision-making.
- Lead the commercial sales process for requests for proposals, including bidding, contracts, and purchase orders for new clients and opportunities.
- Contribute to the bidding process and proposal generation for existing clients.
- Participate in the development of global sales strategies.
- Implement and execute local sales tactics.
- Manage and nurture customer relationships.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of sales and business development experience in the IT industry.
Language Proficiency
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written), with proficiency in Mandarin (at least spoken).
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Results-oriented approach to sales.
- Adaptability in addressing complex business challenges.
- Customer-focused with a strong drive for results.
