Job Title: Standby Manager

The purpose of this role is to provide technical support and maintenance services during overnight hours. This involves being on call to respond to emergencies, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment or systems operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be available on call during the night shift to respond to urgent technical issues within a specified response time.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical issues with equipment, machinery, or systems (EV Charger, Telecommunication and Security System).
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks during downtime to prevent future issues, including inspections, testing, and servicing of equipment.
  • Monitor equipment or systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Log all maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs in a maintenance management system, ensuring accurate records of work performed.
  • Adhere to workplace safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Report issues, updates, or escalations to supervisors or the day shift team, ensuring seamless handover of tasks.
  • Respond to alarms, alerts, or calls promptly, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Ensure availability of necessary tools, spare parts, or materials for repairs, and report low stock levels to supervisors.

We are seeking an experienced Standby Manager who can provide critical support to our operations during nighttime hours. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, diagnosing issues, and implementing preventive measures to ensure efficient system operation.

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a standby management or similar role.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent technical support and maintenance services.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and technical principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
