Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Tech Operations Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of live events by setting up and dismantling AVL equipment, operating AVL systems during events, and maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AVL technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Setup and Dismantling: Set up and dismantle AVL equipment including projectors, speakers, TVs, lighting fixtures, and cameras.
  • Power and Signal Cabling: Run power and signal cables safely and efficiently.
  • AVL System Operation: Operate AVL systems during live events.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Organize inventory and support warehouse operations.
  • On-Site Venue Support: Support onsite venue operations and logistics as needed.
  • Manual Tasks: Perform heavy lifting and manual tasks during event build and teardown.
  • Overseas Installations: Participate in outdoor and overseas installations (when required).
  • Safety and Quality Standards: Uphold safety, cleanliness, and quality service standards.
Requirements:
  • Location: Based in Singapore (due to event schedule and location-specific needs).
  • AVL Knowledge: AVL knowledge and hands-on experience preferred.
  • Team-Oriented Mindset: Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to Learn: Willingness to learn and upgrade skills (training provided).
  • Physical Fitness: Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour.
  • Flexibility: Flexible and able to adapt to dynamic event environments.
  • Travel Requirements: Able to travel for short term overseas projects.
