Centre Manager Job

We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead our non-profit organisation's active ageing centres. As a dynamic and compassionate leader, you will oversee day-to-day operations, programme planning and execution, collaboration with team members, partners, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will inspire staff, volunteers, and partners to deliver innovative and person-centred programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational leadership to the Active Ageing Centres (AAC) team, translating the organisation's mission into impactful daily operations.
  • Develop and execute annual work plans aligned with government funding requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and organisational goals.
  • Lead and develop the AAC team with empathy, clear communication, and teamwork.
Programme Development & Impact:
  • Curate and implement evidence-informed and person-centred programmes that promote seniors' physical, mental, and social well-being.
  • Oversee outreach strategies to engage vulnerable seniors, including home visits and community networking.
  • Lead the AAC team to plan, execute, and refine active ageing programmes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships:
  • Build strong relationships with government agencies, community partners, donors, and grassroots organisations.
  • Represent the organisation at networking events, dialogues, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships that expand programme reach and funding.
Administrative Oversight:
  • Oversee efforts to achieve KPIs for the active ageing centres.
  • Prepare necessary reports for submission to the organisation and relevant funds.
  • Lead the management of volunteers, work with the AAC team to onboard volunteers, and collaborate with volunteers for the benefit of beneficiaries.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum diploma in Social Work, Gerontology, Community Development, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant leadership experience in the social service, healthcare, or community sector, preferably in senior services or active ageing sector.
• Proven track record in programme management, team management and building, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.
• High adaptability and resilience in a dynamic community environment, and comfortable working in a 'start-up' culture.
