Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and carrying out regular preventive maintenance of facilities, handling maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out regular preventive maintenance of facilities, including aircon servicing, maintenance of kitchen equipment, and cleaning of all facilities.
- Handle maintenance requests and update maintenance request records and monitor response time.
- Adhere to effective execution of safety and standard operating procedures and workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines.
- Supervise contractors and vendors for any maintenance service, including school and office renovation.
- Manage external vendors and contractors on-site maintenance works and their contracts in terms of work completion and thorough cleanliness.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Liaise with various government authorities, such as BCA, NEA, and URA.
- Undertake periodic projects and works assigned from time to time.
- Handle procurement of maintenance or minor renovation works relating to school's facilities and headquarters buildings.
- Responsible for management of logistics, equipment, and inventory related to programme delivery.
Requirements
- Possess Diploma in Building Services or Facilities Management.
- At least 3 years of related work experience, preferably in a school environment or similar.
- Self-driven and committed individual with excellent follow-up skills.
- Results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal, communication skills, and fluent in spoken and written English.
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
