Hermès International is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department in Singapore.

About the Role:

The Junior Legal Counsel will provide legal support to the regional legal team and the global legal department, ensuring the execution and compliance of all regional legal activities in the South Asia region. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing contracts, and providing general legal support to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including service contracts, NDAs, and LOIs
  • Managing contracts database, including renewal and expiry dates
  • Template management, creating and updating template contracts and legal documentation
  • Drafting and updating policies and procedures
  • Assisting local markets in the localization of Group documents
  • Corporate secretarial, including assisting with Board meetings and AGMs
  • Compliance, including developing and implementing data protection and anti-corruption policies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Laws or equivalent from a reputable university
  • At least 1 year of practical legal experience in a law firm or in-house
  • Perfect command of English, both written and verbal
  • Strong interest in Asian cultures
  • Good team player with excellent analytical and communication skills
Eligibility:
  • Be aged at least 18 but not yet 29
  • Be French or a European citizen
  • Be in good standing about national service obligations
  • Have a clean criminal record
  • Be able to devote yourself full-time to your assignment
