Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Customer Insight to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Customer Experience and Business Trends organization, you will play a critical role in driving customer-centric strategies across our various business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage ambiguity: Understand complex business problems and create hypotheses to inform analysis requirements and identify meaningful insights that improve the customer experience.
  • Study management: Lead large and complex studies, including scoping with business leaders, study design, data collection, data analysis, recommendations, and presenting results to senior management.
  • Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand priorities, define the roadmap, and collaborate on studies and actions to improve the customer experience.
  • Team support: Contribute to our high-performing culture by supporting hiring and onboarding new team members.
Requirements:
  • Possess a passion for continuously improving customer experience.
  • Have experience influencing and earning the trust of stakeholders and moving business teams to take action in English and Japanese.
  • Demonstrate significant creativity and excellent business judgment.
  • Show a strong sense of urgency and commitment.
  • Be a self-starter and independent thinker who follows up on responsibilities in a timely manner while being a strong team player.
  • Be a problem solver who always thinks about what to do next.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical capability.
