Job Summary

The ideal candidate will design and implement engaging swimming programs for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.

  • Deliver effective and supportive swimming lessons to cater to different needs and abilities.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes physical activity.
  • Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to achieve program goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience (preferably in a swim school setting)
  • Recognized swim teacher certification or degree in Physical Education (an asset)
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Ability to speak an additional language (an asset)
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends/public holidays
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards swimming
  • Excellent communicator with both children and adults
  • Possess the ability to inspire confidence and motivate swimmers
  • Perseverance and patience
  • Good understanding of how to differentiate in a teaching session
  • Professional, punctual, and well-organized person responsible for implementing, developing, and organizing swimming classes
