Overview
Summary of position: We are looking for someone who is passionate about educating children through sports. As a Learn to Swim Coach you will coach Swim PE classes and Learn to Swim classes for children aged 3 and above. You will report to the General Manager and be part of our passionate team and community of coaches.
Responsibilities
Coach Learn to Swim students according to the Epic Swim curriculum.
Coach Swim Physical Education students according to the Epic Swim curriculum.
Attend Epic Swim's in-house training program and attach to senior coaches prior to coaching independently.
Provide timely feedback to parents on the progress of their child, and record student log.
Attend regular workshops and courses, and use the learnings to continuously improve coaching skills.
Fulfil administrative tasks related to the program; e.g. meet entries, attendance report, student performance tracking, and minutes of attended workshops.
Maintain a professional image as an ambassador of the Epic Swim brand.
Participate actively in our coaches community.
Requirements
Passion for sports. Swim experience preferred but not required as all training will be provided.
Passion for teaching young children with the ability to take care of them.
Demonstrated team player with an open mindset to learning and improving.
Fluent in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required to attend Epic Swim's in-house training program and fulfill 60 hours of coaching practical attachment. Attachment hours will be paid.
